Our Data Sources
IPDSN aggregates data from reputable geolocation and threat intelligence providers. Geolocation information is derived from BGP routing tables, WHOIS registry records, and cross-referenced datasets from multiple providers to maximize accuracy.
Threat intelligence data — including VPN detection, proxy identification, Tor exit node flags, and known abuser/attacker classifications — comes from curated blocklists and behavioral analysis databases that are refreshed regularly. This means our security indicators stay current with evolving threat infrastructure.
What We Show You
Every IP lookup on IPDSN returns a comprehensive set of data points:
